I just spent an hour playing with benzotriazole (an anti-fog additive) and 1976 Verichrome Pan. Not a good experience; the benzotriazole apparently retarded the development in DD-X enough that everything on the Verichrome, and then the roll of HP5+ after it, was totally under-developed. The Verichrome is almost totally clear and the HP5 only shows anything in the highlights. Ah well – two rolls lost, but I can guarantee that there’s no base fog on the 197 …[more]
